What we collect
- Contact and booking details: your name, email address, phone number, the treatments you ask about, preferred times and any message you send.
- Confirmation that you are 18 or over when you book or use a tanning bed, and, where needed, proof of age.
- Information about your health and skin that you choose to share so we can carry out treatments safely, such as allergies, skin conditions, sensitivity to light or medication.
- Treatment records, such as which treatments you had and when.
- Basic technical information your browser sends when this website loads, such as your IP address, which our hosting provider may process to deliver the pages.
How we use it
- To reply to enquiries and arrange, confirm or change appointments.
- To check that tanning bed customers are 18 or over, as the law requires.
- To decide whether a treatment is suitable for you and carry it out safely.
- To keep business, accounting and tax records we are required to keep.
Our lawful bases
We rely on taking steps at your request before a contract, and on performing that contract, to handle bookings and treatments. We rely on legal obligation to check age for sunbed use and to keep required records, and on our legitimate interests in running the salon. Health information is special category data: we use it only with your explicit consent, or where it is needed to protect your vital interests.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only where needed to run the salon, for example with our email, phone and website providers and our professional advisers, or where the law requires it.
International transfers
Some of our service providers, including our email provider, may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where that happens, we rely on safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as adequacy regulations or approved contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to respond. Booking and treatment records, including any health information you gave us, are kept while you remain a customer and afterwards only for as long as needed to deal with questions or claims about a treatment and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. We then delete or anonymise them.
Cookies and fonts
This website does not set cookies or use analytics or advertising trackers. Its typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers and shares your IP address with Google when a page loads.
The booking form
The booking form on this website checks your entries in your browser. To be certain we receive your request, you can also email or call us using the details above.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your personal information, ask us to correct or delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or ask us to transfer it. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Email us to make a request; we will respond within one month.
